Job summary

Quantum Mortgages is seeking a bridging finance underwriter to assess and underwrite bridging loan applications in line with our credit risk policy and to support intermediary partners with new opportunities.

You will review documents, conduct due diligence, articulate a clear credit rationale, manage a pipeline end-to-end, and contribute to process improvements within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Review, assess and underwrite bridging loan applications in line with Lending Policy and SLA.
• Evaluate supporting documentation including credit searches, land registry reports and valuations.
• Provide a balanced credit rationale with mitigations where needed.
• Manage an efficient pipeline from application to completion, liaising with solicitors and arranging funding.
• Ensure accurate data entry and ongoing record keeping.
• Be an active team member with a can-do attitude and prioritise tasks.
• Contribute to ongoing business improvement initiatives.
• Deliver proactive customer service to stakeholders.
• Develop understanding of the Firm's lending strategies and risk policies.
• Assist with enquiries from introducers to provide heads of terms.
