Amey is offering an Industry Placement in Bridges and Civil Structures at Exeter. You will join a dedicated team on exciting projects across the UK, contributing to investigations, optioning, design, and asset management.

The role focuses on practical, sustainable solutions and hands-on experience under experienced engineers. You will assist with structural analysis, carbon and cost estimates, 3D models, drawings and technical documents, as well as bridge inspections and health monitoring.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a Bachelor's or Master's in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Interest in bridges / civil structures.

Responsibilities

• Be part of an experienced team, working on exciting projects across the UK and internationally.
• Help develop practical, sustainable solutions for bridges and civil structures; from investigation to optioneering, feasibility, concept and detailed design, construction supervision and asset management.
• Assist in structural analysis, design and assessment calculations.
• Develop carbon and cost estimates, 3D models, drawings and technical documents.
• Assist with bridge inspections, investigations, structural health monitoring, and supervision of works.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of data, analytics and digital technology solutions.
