Job summary

Northern Education Trust is seeking a dedicated Hub Management professional to coordinate lesson attendance, manage a weekly timetable, and source differentiated materials for SEND students. You will work with teachers and the Inclusion Co-ordinator to support vulnerable pupils and track progress.

The role emphasises safeguarding, GDPR compliance, and collaboration with families and external agencies, offering development opportunities across NET schools.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate attendance and maintain weekly timetable for pupils.

  • Mentor vulnerable students to build literacy, numeracy, ICT, and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborate with Inclusion Co-ordinator, parents, carers, and external partners.
  • Oversee student records and contribute to reviews and achievement initiatives.

Job description

Hub Management: Serve as the gatekeeper for "the Bridge," coordinating lesson attendance and maintaining an up-to-date weekly timetable. Curriculum Support: Liaise with teachers to source subject-specific work and provide suitably differentiated materials for SEND students. Resource Development: Create specialized resources focused on anger management, behavior management, and social skills. Student Mentorship: Act as a primary point of contact for vulnerable students, helping them develop literacy, numeracy, ICT, and problem-solving skills. Collaboration: Work closely with the Inclusion Co-ordinator, parents, carers, and outside agencies like the Education and Welfare Officer (EWO). Progress Tracking: Oversee student records, contribute to reviews, and manage achievement initiatives to celebrate student success. Who You Are Empathetic & Resilient: You have a passion for promoting the welfare of children and reinforcing their self-esteem. Organized: You can handle complex administrative tasks, from invigilating exams to managing individual student timetables. A Strong Communicator: You are comfortable providing regular feedback to colleagues and participating in wider Trust meetings. Duty-Bound: You understand the critical importance of GDPR, confidentiality, and safeguarding.
