We have opportunities for Bridge Maintenance Operatives to join our NMC SE contract working within the Major Bridges Maintenance Team. The major bridges include the Queensferry Crossing, Forth Road Bridge, Clackmannanshire & Kincardine Bridges. The role is based in South Queensferry, but there is scope to carry out works all over the NMC SE contract.
Our NMC SE contract is working in partnership with Transport Scotland, where we are responsible for delivering inspections, cyclic maintenance, design and build of projects, and bridge structure improvements. Our Network Bridges team look after the smaller bridges throughout the NMC SE contract, and our Operations team look after the road network throughout the same area, as well as winter maintenance.
The Bridge Maintenance Operative is an integral part of the Major Bridges Maintenance Team helping deliver the contract to the client at a high quality and standard.
Standard working hours for the Major Bridges Maintenance Team is 40hrs, with a standard dayshift Monday to Friday.
A driving licence is essential for this position.
