Job summary

Jacobs is offering a Summer Internship Programme across the UK and Ireland. Over approximately eight weeks in the summer, you will work in our Transportation and Structural Solutions teams on projects across aviation, highways, rail and related markets.

You will gain real-world experience, with mentorship from engineers and programme champions, applying your classroom skills to real business challenges while building a strong professional network and learning our lean, digital delivery methods.

Qualifications

• On track to complete a degree in MEng Civil Engineering; MEng Civil & Structural Engineering; MEng Civil & Environmental Engineering in 2028.
• A flexible and innovative self-starter who’s passionate about developing new skills.
• Enthusiasm and curiosity to apply your skills to solve real-world problems.

Responsibilities

• Support the team, transforming how we deliver through the implementation of new technologies and lean, digital processes.
• Deliver on tasks such as structural analysis, feasibility studies, tender designs, detailed designs and the production of contract documents and technical reports.
