Job summary

Outwood Academy Foxhills in Scunthorpe is seeking a Bridge Coordinator to lead the Bridge provision and support re-engagement of students facing barriers to learning. You will liaise with teaching staff to plan lessons and develop tailored resources, while safeguarding and supporting vulnerable students and families.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Education or Childcare
• Experience in a school environment and understanding of issues affecting students and young people
• Strong communication, time management and organisational skills; ability to handle confidential information

Responsibilities

• Manage operations of the Bridge provision and coordinate lesson work with teaching staff
• Produce specialized resources (e.g., Anger Management, Social Skills)
• Assist Inclusion Co-ordinator with SEN procedures and reduced timetables; administer tests and invigilate exams
• Be a key contact for vulnerable students, EWO and parents; manage Behaviour for Learning initiatives and SEN Raising Boys' Achievement
