Job Title: Bridal Seamstress & Alterations

Location : Woburn Walk, Bloomsbury, London, WC1H

Reports to : Atelier Manager

Working hours : Full time, Monday-Friday 9am - 5:30pm

Contract : Freelance/Temporary - Peak season June - August with the option to extend

Job Purpose

Working closely with the Atelier Seamstresses, we are looking for an experienced seamstress to perform alternations with the upmost excellence and to make new dresses from our collections.

• Prepare and carry out alterations
• Manufacture of products to a high quality standard
• Build relationships with the team and support a collaborative environment.

The Candidate:

You are friendly, passionate and driven, with high attention to detail, work well under pressure, a solution oriented person who thrives from working with a luxury product.

• Excellent experience with alterations for evening and luxury garments. Bridal experience is preferable.
• Strong technical skills in manufacturing, ensuring high quality standards are consistently maintained.
• Great understanding of patterns and creating bespoke garments.
• You will operate in a professional manner, as a proud representative of Halfpenny London, and the culture of the brand. This means bringing a problem solving attitude, a friendly approach, and a courteous manner in all dealings.
• Ability to work positively within a team.
• Personal accountability and integrity
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills to meet all seasonal deadlines.
