Job summary

Activate Learning in Guildford is seeking a Construction Brickwork Technician to support practical teaching and maintain industry-standard brickwork workshops. You will help manage materials and create realistic training environments for learners entering the construction industry.

The role involves preparing workshops and resources, maintaining tools and equipment, stock control and ensuring health and safety compliance, COSHH, and risk assessments to support learner development.

Qualifications

• Industry experience in bricklaying or brickwork.
• Strong knowledge of brickwork techniques and materials.
• Experience maintaining workshops and learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare workshops, practical activities and learning resources to support teaching.
• Maintain brickwork workshops, training bays, tools and equipment to industry standards.
• Manage stock control, orders and inventory records for materials.
• Support learners to develop technical competence and safe working practices.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH and industry regulations.
