Coleg Menai invites applications for a Lecturer in Bricklaying (0.6081 FTE) on a fixed-term contract to 31 August 2028. The role involves organising and delivering theory sessions up to level 3 and teaching practical workshops, plus assessment of learners' work and liaison with City & Guilds.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching bricklaying to level 3.
• Deliver practical sessions in a workshop.
• Assess learners' work and provide feedback.
• Liaise with City & Guilds and ensure QA of learner work.
• Lead the team of assessors and instructors.
• Provide tutorials and support for Skills Competitions Wales.

Responsibilities

• Organise and deliver classroom theory sessions in bricklaying.
• Teach practical sessions in a workshop setting.
• Carry out assessment of learners' work.
• Coordinate with awarding bodies to maintain QA.
• Lead and mentor the teaching team.
• Provide regular tutorials to keep learners on track.
