Morgan Hunt is recruiting for an experienced Bricklaying Lecturer to join an FE College in Bury St Edmunds on a long-term temporary basis. The role involves delivering practical and theory Bricklaying training to Levels 1-3 and supporting learners to develop core construction skills.

Applicants should have strong bricklaying experience and ideally some FE teaching experience, with a willingness to pursue formal teaching qualifications.

Bricklaying Lecturer

Location: Bury St Edmunds

Pay: £250 per day

Start Date: 30th October

Contract: Long-term temporary

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Bricklaying Lecturer to join an FE College in Bury St Edmunds on a long-term temporary basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an industry-experienced Bricklayer or an established Lecturer to support learners working towards their Bricklaying qualifications across Levels 1-3. The successful candidate will deliver engaging practical training, share their industry knowledge and help learners develop the skills needed to progress within the construction industry.

About the Role

• Deliver practical and theory-based Bricklaying sessions across Levels 1-3
• Support learners in developing their technical skills and industry knowledge
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain a safe, organised and effective workshop environment

Requirements

• Strong industry experience in Bricklaying
• Knowledge of Level 1-3 Bricklaying qualifications and course requirements
• Previous teaching or training experience within Further Education
• A recognised teaching qualification is desirable, or a willingness to work towards one
