Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Limited is recruiting for a Bricklaying Lecturer at a Further Education college in Surrey on a long-term temporary basis. You will deliver practical and theory sessions to learners, bringing industry knowledge into the classroom.

The role suits an experienced bricklayer or brickwork professional with strong practical experience and up-to-date industry knowledge. A Level 3 Bricklaying qualification is required, and a teaching qualification is preferred or a plan to work towards

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification in Bricklaying, Brickwork, Trowel Occupations or a relevant construction discipline.
• Strong practical Bricklaying experience and up-to-date industry knowledge.
• Teaching qualification preferred or willingness to work towards one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging practical and theory-based sessions.
• Support learners to build technical knowledge and practical skills.
• Help learners progress into the construction industry within an FE setting.

About the Role

• We are currently working with a Further Education College in Surrey who are looking for an experienced Bricklaying Lecturer to join their Construction team on a long-term temporary basis.
• This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bricklayer or Brickwork professional looking to bring their industry knowledge into the classroom and help develop the next generation of construction professionals.
• You will deliver engaging practical and theory-based sessions, supporting learners to build their technical knowledge, practical skills and confidence.
• The role offers the chance to work within a supportive FE environment while making a genuine impact on learners progressing into the construction industry.

What we are looking for

• A Level 3 qualification in Bricklaying, Brickwork, Trowel Occupations or a relevant construction discipline.
• Strong practical Bricklaying experience and up-to-date industry knowledge.
• Previous teaching, training, mentoring or assessing experience is desirable, although experienced industry professionals looking to move into FE are encouraged to apply.
• A recognised teaching qualification is preferred, or a willingness to work towards one.
