Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property is recruiting a Bricklayer for a temporary assignment on a busy new build site in West Malling, Kent. Pay rate ranges from £230–£300 per day depending on experience and payment method (PAYE/umbrella/CIS). Start date is September 2026 and the contract is temporary.

Duties include constructing, repairing and maintaining walls, reading plans, jointing and pointing, and ensuring health and safety on site. A valid CSCS card and own tools are required.

Qualifications

• CSCS card required.
• Own tools must be brought to site.
• Relevant site experience on bricklaying projects.
• PPE (hard hat, boots, high-visibility) required.

Responsibilities

• Construct, repair and maintain walls, foundations, partitions and decorative masonry.
• Read and interpret plans and prepare site/mix materials.
• Jointing and pointing to ensure finish quality.
• Carry out restoration and repairs as needed.
• Follow health and safety rules on site.

Duties

• Constructing, repairing, and maintaining walls, foundations, partition structures, and decorative masonry using bricks, concrete blocks and stone
• Reading plans, site preparation and mixing materials
• Jointing and pointing
• Restoration and repairs
• Adhere to health and safety on site

Requirements

• A valid CSCS card
• Own tools
• Relevant site experience
• PPE (Hard hat, high viz, protective boots)
• Be reliable, punctual, and hard working
