We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual for the role of Bricklayer to join and enhance our successful and growing Property Services Team working in our Responsive Repairs and Maintenance team.
About the role
We are looking for a Bricklayer to join the team to assist Karbon Homes in delivering an excellent repairs and maintenance service that promotes a culture of customer first and continuous improvement.
About you
You should have completed a recognised bricklayer trade apprenticeship or have equivalent relevant experience and possess all the skills necessary to deliver all aspects of work to a high standard in occupied and void, domestic and non-domestic, premises ranging from minor repairs to the installation of major components. For example, experience would be expected in the following areas:
The role has a multi-skilled element, whereby it is expected that the successful applicant will be able to undertake different trade disciplines in the undertaking of their role such as joinery, plumbing and plastering. The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate this at interview stage with relevant examples.
You should hold relevant qualifications (refer to person specification) and also have experience of the trade.
Customer service skills are essential for this role as is an excellent knowledge of health and safety.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
About our team
The successful candidate will work in our Responsive Repairs and Maintenance team led by the Operations Team Manager: Chris McCabe. This will predominantly be in the Chester-le-Street area but you will be required to be flexible and work across the whole of the North East when business needs are required.
