What the role will involve

You will work on Major Highway Projects including Public Realm Works, Capital projects, and small planned highway maintenance projects. The ideal candidate is a team player with attention to detail, capable of reading detailed plans to carry out specified works, and working within regulations to ensure the safety of residents and visitors.

What can we offer you?
  • A competitive salary and pension with optional AVC scheme.
  • A generous annual leave allowance, with options to buy additional leave.
  • Family-friendly policies including various types of leave and support schemes.
  • Work-life balance options such as agile, part-year, compressed hours, and flexi-time.
  • Access to salary sacrifice schemes, physiotherapy, counseling, eye tests, wellbeing programs, mental health support, staff networks, trade union, and staff travel schemes.
  • Learning and development opportunities, including induction, e-learning, apprenticeships, and resource centers.
  • Retail discounts across various UK retailers.
