GREAT MANN CONSTRUCTION LTD is seeking a skilled mason for permanent, full-time work in Canada. You will perform bricklaying and masonry tasks across residential, commercial, and industrial sites, reading blueprints to calculate material needs and ensuring precise installation of blocks, veneers, and chimneys.

The role requires 3–5 years of masonry experience, a secondary school certificate, and the ability to work at fixed job sites, with shifts including early mornings and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 3 years to less than 5 years masonry experience.
• Must work at a physical location; no remote option.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles or other masonry units.
• Estimate materials, tools and equipment required for projects.
• Lay bricks, stone or similar materials to provide veneer facing.
• Construct and install prefabricated masonry units.
• Build patios, garden walls and other decorative installations.
• Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required.
• Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools.
• Lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces.
• Lay radial bricks to build masonry shells of industrial chimneys.
• Restore, clean or paint existing masonry structures.
