Job summary

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Screening Data Assistant to support the Breast Screening Service by completing mandatory reports (KC62, BASO) and handling daily administrative duties in the Screening Office.

You will collect data from multiple sources, liaise with clinicians and professionals, and enter information onto the National Breast Screening System NBSS with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• To ensure NBSS data is kept up to date to support submission of mandatory reports (e.g., KC62, BASO) within set timescales.
• Assist the data coordinator in ensuring data quality and the accuracy/validity of reports and analyses from NBSS.
• Maintain a record of treatment decisions made at MDT meetings and record them on NBSS promptly.
• Partake in the auditing process of other data assistants' work.
• Undertake tasks to support development of data management within the Screening Service as directed by senior staff.
• Assist with production of lists, reports and maintenance of records using NBSS; assist with data entry for interval cancer cases.
