Job summary

The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Senior Radiographer to join the Breast Imaging Team for breast screening and symptomatic services in Newcastle.

You will work across the Breast Screening Centre at the Royal Victoria Infirmary and in community settings, delivering high-quality radiographic assessment and collaborating with colleagues to optimise patient care.

Qualifications

• Degree in Diagnostic or Therapeutic Radiography required.
• HCPC registration required.
• Postgraduate qualification in Mammographic studies essential.
• Valid driving licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Breast Screening and Assessment Centre and community screenings.
• Deliver a high-quality radiographic service with accurate image assessment.
• Possibility of evening and weekend work.
• Collaborate with the Superintendent Radiographer to provide screening, assessment and symptomatic services.
