Job summary

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust invites applications for a Mammographer (trainee or qualified) to join the Bucks Breast Unit at Wycombe Hospital, High Wycombe. The post offers opportunities to progress clinically or managerially within a supportive team.

Role involves high-quality imaging, participation in mobile screening services, and flexible coverage across sites. Internal applicants may have secondment options and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Radiography.
• HPC Registration.
• Evidence of CPD and attendance at relevant short courses.
• Cannulation training.
• Certificate in Mammography.

Responsibilities

• Produce high standard of images.
• Maintain patient-centred approach.
• Provide skilled mammography in symptomatic and screening settings.
• Participate in mobile breast screening service across sites.
• Support consultant staff in NHSBSP assessment clinics.
• Work without supervision in mammography and organise workload.
