Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is seeking a skilled Band 6 Locum Mammographer to join our team in Buckinghamshire. The post offers a pay rate of £26.00 per hour and a 40-hour week, with an initial 8-month duration and immediate start.

You will perform a range of mammographic procedures, maintain patient comfort and safety, and ensure accurate documentation while adhering to radiation safety standards. HCPC registration and a Diagnostic Radiography degree are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
• Current HCPC registration.
• Significant mammography experience, preferably Band 6.
• Proficiency with mammography equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge of breast imaging protocols and radiation safety.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of mammographic procedures to support screening and diagnosis.
• Operate mammography equipment and ensure high-quality images with patient comfort.
• Maintain records, follow radiation safety protocols, and contribute to QA activities.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure service delivery.
