Job summary

North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust in Carlisle is seeking a dedicated healthcare support worker to join the MDT, providing personal care, clinical observations and delegated skills under supervision. You will maintain accurate records, communicate concerns to registered professionals, and promote dignity, safety and compassionate care in line with Trust policies.

Qualifications

• National Care Certificate or willingness to complete within 12 weeks.
• “Care and related procedures” knowledge base.
• Ability to undertake clinical observations under supervision.
• Good documentation and record-keeping practices.
• Understanding of data protection and GDPR.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with continence and hygiene needs.
• Participate in MDT care provision and support patient independence.
• Record care activities accurately and report changes to clinicians.
• Deliver delegated clinical/therapeutic interventions as directed.
• Maintain timely electronic/paper records and liaise with care teams.
