Quarter is seeking a Breakfast Waiting Team Member to join our Clifton, Bristol venues on a part-time basis. The role involves 9–12 hours per week across three shifts, with early starts and weekend rotation.

You will greet guests, take breakfast orders, and ensure a smooth service in a boutique setting. This position offers friendly team culture, on-site venues, and opportunities to progress within our independent hospitality group.

• Must be genuinely morning-friendly and reliable.

We're Quarter - an independent hospitality group with four restaurants and four hotels right in the heart of Clifton, Bristol. We're proud of what we do, we look after our teams, and we're on the lookout for a brilliant early bird to join our breakfast crewsin a part time breakfast waiting positions (9-12 hours per week / 3 short morning shifts).

The Breakfast Waiting Roles at a Glance

We have two positions available:

The Washington Guesthouse - 9 hours a week over 3 shifts (rota based, including weekends and weekdays). Rotas are set in advance and we do our best to work around your availability - although please consider the requirement to be available for 3 shifts each week when you apply.

No.4 Clifton Village - 12 hours a week over 3 shifts (rota based, but will predominantly be week days). Rotas are set in advance and we do our best to work around your availability - although please consider the requirement to be available for 3 shifts each week when you apply.

Shift timings: Weekday shifts are approx. 7am until 9.30 or 10am, weekend shifts are approx. 8am until 10.30 am or 11am

Our venues have a reputation for friendly, fun service delivered with a smile, great food and a fantastic atmosphere! The Washington is located close to the Clifton Triangle and No.4 Clifton Village is located in Clifton Village.

What You'll Be Doing as Breakfast Waiting Team Member

Welcoming guests and taking orders for hot breakfast items (being smaller boutique properties, our breakfasts are cooked to order rather than a large hot buffet)

Delivering food to tables promptly and with a smile (yes, even before your second coffee)

Setting up, maintaining and clearing down the small continental buffet area

Keeping the dining room looking smart throughout service

Helping with general clear-down at the end of your shift, and occasionally assisting with lunch or event set-up.

What We're Looking For

You don't need a lengthy CV or years of experience - but some experience in a customer-facing, hospitality setting would be ideal, and there are a few key things that'll make you a great fit:

You're a genuine morning person

You're warm, friendly, confident and comfortable chatting with guests from the moment service kicks off. A good sense of humour and a good level of charisma goes a long way too!

You have good availability across the week and are happy to work weekends on rotation. We are used to working around Uni schedules, but for these roles are particularly looking for people who could work on at least 3 mid week days.

You're reliable - our guests are counting on a smooth breakfast, every time

You're a team player who's happy to muck in wherever needed

You take pride in doing a good job, even on a short shift

You can get yourself to Clifton (BS8) for an early start - please note there's no on-site car parking, but there's plenty of bike parking at all venues and great bus and train links in the area.

Previous waiting or hospitality experience is great, but a brilliant attitude and a winning personality will always win us over.
