Whitbread is hiring a Breakfast Room Kitchen Team Member for Widnes Premier Inn. The role involves preparing and cooking breakfasts before guests wake, serving meals and supporting a busy kitchen team. You will work 20 contracted hours per week with a permanent contract at Venture Fields, Widnes.

There are early mornings and weekend shifts. You don’t need hotel experience; training is provided and you will learn on the job while delivering great guest meals.

We're currently recruiting in our Widnes Premier Inn. Working 20 hours per week, paying up to £13.06 per hour.

Breakfast Room Kitchen Team Member – Widnes Premier Inn

This isn’t just about cooking.

You’ll help prepare, cook and serve breakfasts that become part of someone’s stay at Premier Inn because a good breakfast can make a great stay even better.

You will be preparing breakfast before guests wake up.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract: Permanent – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 20 contracted hours per week.

Location: Venture Fields, The Hive Leisure Park, Widnes, Cheshire, WA8 0GY

Shifts: Includes early mornings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What You’ll Do

As a Kitchen Team Member you’ll help make sure every guest gets a meal they’ll enjoy. You’ll:

• Prepare ingredients before service starts
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast service
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly
• Help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right

This isn't a role where you’ll spend your shift hidden in the back washing up.

You’ll be part of a team that’s working together to deliver the meals our guests rely on.

You Don’t Need Hotel Experience

Some of our best Kitchen Team Members joined us from supermarkets, cafés, pubs, restaurants, warehouses and customer service jobs.

If you’re willing to learn, we’ll teach you the rest.

You Might Have Worked As a

• Catering Assistant
• Barista
• Kitchen Porter
• Retail Assistant
• Warehouse Operative

This could be your first kitchen job or you may have worked in hospitality before.

What matters most is that you're reliable, enjoy working with others and don’t mind rolling your sleeves up when things get busy.
