Job summary

Killisick Junior School is seeking a caring, reliable Breakfast Club and Midday Supervisor to join our team. The role involves preparing and serving breakfasts, supervising children at breakfast and lunchtime, and promoting a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Puts children first and keeps them at the heart of all actions.
• Plans and oversees a varied programme of activities.
• Supervises, leads and assists children to encourage good behaviour.
• Takes responsibility for health and safety and emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve simple, nutritious breakfasts in line with food hygiene standards.
• Ensure the Breakfast Club runs smoothly and safely.
• Supervise children before the start of the school day.
• Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction.
• Supervise pupils during lunchtime, both in the dining hall and playground.
• Promote a happy, calm and inclusive lunchtime atmosphere.
• Encourage good manners, positive play and healthy eating.
• Support children's wellbeing and ensure their safety at all times.
