Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is recruiting a Breakfast and Lunch Chef for a hotel kitchen near Leeds. You will prepare varied breakfasts, conference lunches and staff meals, ensuring high-quality presentation and service in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Breakfast chef experience in a hotel environment.
• Ability to prepare buffet breakfasts and conference lunches for large numbers.
• Ability to work well in a small kitchen team.
• Willingness to work early morning shifts.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in food prep and presentation.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Flexible and able to work under pressure.
• Experience as Chef De Partie is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver buffet breakfasts for approx. guests.
• Prepare and serve conference lunches for up to 140 guests.
• Produce buffet-style staff lunches for up to 30 team members.
• Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering and stocktaking, minimise waste.
• Maintain HACCP and food safety compliance.
