Compass Group UK&I’s The Venues Collection at Eastwood Hall is hiring a Breakfast & Lunch Assistant. You’ll help start guests’ days with a warm welcome, support service across breakfast and lunch, and keep dining areas tidy and inviting. A proactive, friendly attitude and willingness to learn are valued highly.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests with a friendly smile and making them feel at home.
• Supporting breakfast and lunch service, ensuring guests receive friendly, efficient and attentive service.
• Setting up dining areas, laying tables and ensuring everything is ready before guests arrive.
• Replenishing buffet items, food displays and beverages throughout service, keeping everything looking fresh and well presented.
• Ensuring food and drinks are presented to high standards.
• Assisting guests with menu queries and allergens information.
• Clearing tables promptly and keeping dining areas clean and ready for the next guests.
• Assisting with preparation of simple items and beverages when required.
• Monitoring stock levels and replenishing supplies to keep service running smoothly.
• Working closely with kitchen, Food & Beverage and Events teams to deliver a seamless guest experience.
• Supporting colleagues during busy periods and following all food safety, allergen management, hygiene and health and safety procedures.

You don't need to know everything on day one. What matters most is having a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a passion for hospitality.
