Job summary

Supply Heroes Ltd is recruiting a Playworker for a friendly Ofsted-rated Good Primary School in Sutton Coldfield (B75) to support the Breakfast Club provision. This temporary, full-time role runs term-time only, starting after half term and continuing until Christmas. Salary is competitive and dependent on experience. You will supervise children, plan engaging activities, and help with breakfast routines. The ideal candidate is caring, reliable and communicates well.

• Experience working with children in school, nursery, or play settings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children attending the Breakfast Club.
• Plan and support fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all pupils.
• Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction.
• Assist with breakfast routines and ensure children are ready for the school day.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and school policies at all times.
• Work closely with school staff to support pupils' wellbeing.
