Job summary

KOOSA Kids is seeking a Breakfast Club Assistant at Southfield Primary School in London (Chiswick). You will help run the morning club for children aged 4–11, supporting the Breakfast Club Manager in a safe, organized environment.

You will assist with breakfasts, monitor wellbeing, and follow Ofsted standards and KOOSA policies, including safeguarding. Training is provided and opportunities for progression exist.

Qualifications

• Passion for childcare, early years or playwork.
• Energetic, fun approach to engaging children.
• Reliable with clear communication to colleagues and children.
• Able to relate to and engage with children aged 4–11.
• Opportunities to gain qualifications and develop professionally.
• Full training and induction provided for all Breakfast Club Assistants.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Breakfast Club Manager in the safe, organized running of the Breakfast Club at Southfield Primary School in Chiswick, W4.
• Assist in preparation, serving and tidying away of children's breakfasts.
• Be aware of and support children with additional needs; safeguarding awareness.
• Understand Ofsted standards and KOOSA Kids policies and safeguarding procedures.
• Ensure activity areas are left clean and tidy at the end of the day.
