Job summary

St. Andrew's CE Primary School in Boothstown is seeking a Breakfast Club Playworker to support before-school activities and play opportunities for pupils. The role is permanent and part-time, 5 hours per week during term time, with sessions from 8:00–9:00.

You will supervise children, provide first aid when needed and follow safeguarding and health and safety policies. An enhanced DBS disclosure is required for eligibility.

Qualifications

• Experience with primary school children.
• Good safeguarding awareness.

Responsibilities

• To provide safe, creative play opportunities, preparing activities and organising the programme.
• To ensure children are supervised in all areas including the outside area.
• To administer first aid as appropriate.
• To work within agreed policies, including safeguarding, behaviour management, health and safety and equal opportunities.
