Job summary

TEACH Poole – MULTI-ACADEMY TRUST is recruiting a Breakfast Club Assistant based at Ad Astra Infant School. The role runs 6.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:20am to 8:35am, during term time only, permanent and ASAP as vacancy.

You will help provide a safe, welcoming breakfast setting, assist with menus and purchases, and lead activities while supporting pupils’ safety and development.

Qualifications

• Experience with 4–11 year olds and their families.
• Suitable childcare qualification.
• Cheerful, flexible and approachable.
• Energy and enthusiasm with initiative.
• Team player with strong communication and admin skills.
• Willingness to go above and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Support breakfast club by providing a safe, hygienic and educational environment.
• Assist with planning menus and purchasing food for breakfast.
• Organise activities with children and support learning.
• Ensure children’s safety and development at all times.
• Collaborate with school staff across the primary age range.
