Job summary

The Oval School is seeking a friendly Breakfast Club Assistant to help children start their day in a happy, safe environment. You will lead activities, supervise breakfast, and support children as they play and socialise before lessons.

You will join a caring team, commit to safeguarding, complete DBS checks, and build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues across our multi-academy trust.

Qualifications

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children and young people.
• Willingness to undergo enhanced DBS checks.
• Motivation to work with children and young people.
• Ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships with children and young people.
• Foster excellent working relationships with colleagues and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead activities, including setting up and clearing away equipment.
• Supervise and support with eating breakfast.
• Support children in playing with one another and resolving conflicts.
• Work as part of The Oval team.
