Job summary

Caravan Restaurants and Coffee Roasters is opening a new Southbank location and seeks a Breakfast Chef to help lead the kitchen team with passion for fresh ingredients and guest experience. You will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure standards and develop the team from day one.

The role offers full-time hours in London with a competitive hourly rate and benefits, plus opportunities for growth across Caravan’s expanding brand.

Qualifications

• Experience as Breakfast Chef or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Knowledge of health & safety standards and food handling.
• Ability to lead a kitchen team and develop junior staff.
• Strong collaborative work with Head Chef and management.

Responsibilities

• Follow health & safety standards and deliver kitchen excellence.
• Ensure dishes are prepared consistently and to spec.
• Mentor new team members and support their development.
• Maintain stock, cleanliness and safe kitchen practices.

This November, we’re opening our tenth, and biggest, Caravan at the Southbank. And we’re looking for a brilliant Breakfast Chef to help lead our kitchen team. We’re after someone kind, confident and genuinely passionate about what they do. Someone who is passionate about fresh ingredients, developing their skills, and gets a kick out of helping their team give our guests the best experience possible

You’ll be joining Caravan as we open a special new restaurant, with two floors, multiple bars and plenty of opportunity to make your mark from day one.

The role

As Breakfast Chef , you’ll work with your Head Chef and the management team to make sure the kitchen runs brilliantly every day. That means following standards for health & safety, culture, hospitality and developing yourself and the team around you to make sure every dish sent out is one you’re proud to serve. You’ll know how to work collaboratively as a team member and help your team deliver for your guests.

• Giving new team members a helping hand, welcoming them aboard and inspiring their development
