Job summary

Eden Hotel Collection invites applications for a Breakfast Chef at Bovey Castle. This role suits someone who thrives in a busy morning service, can work under pressure, presents food well, and delivers satisfying breakfast for our guests.

You’ll join a team that values collaboration, offers live-in accommodation, and supports career growth through training and progression opportunities within our remote Devon location.

Please note: our hotel is in a very remote location and is not accessible by public transport.Live in accommodation available.

What We Offer:

• Full-time (42.5 hours per week) or Part-time Contracts tailored to your lifestyle.
• Overtime Pay – you’ll be paid for every hour worked beyond your contracted hours.

What you’ll need?

• You won’t be expected to have exceptional food knowledge but you will need to have basic cookery skills with either proven experience or a Professional Cookery Level 2 / Commis Chef Apprenticeship Standard qualification;
• A passion for food and produce, with a pride in its delivery to the plate;
• Your potential, your commitment, and your ability to work under pressure alongside being an excellent team player, is every bit as important to us as your knife-handling skills.
