Job summary

Trading Post Coffee Roasters is seeking a Breakfast Chef to start each day by preparing fresh, high-quality breakfasts in a fast-paced kitchen. You’ll join a supportive team and help deliver the welcoming experience the brand is known for.

The role focuses on consistency, speed and attention to detail, with opportunities for culinary development and career progression within the company.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safe food preparation.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• The ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast dishes to Trading Post's quality and presentation standards.
• Ensure every meal is served promptly, consistently and with great attention to detail.
• Prepare ingredients and organise your section before service begins.
• Maintain excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness throughout every shift.
• Work closely with the Front of House team to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate any shortages to the Kitchen Manager.
• Follow company recipes, food safety procedures and kitchen standards at all times.
• Support your teammates during busy periods and contribute to a positive kitchen environment.
