Job summary

Breakfast Chef role in Chard, Somerset within a luxury hotel. Live-In available. 6:00am–2:00pm, 40 hours per week with optional extra hours. Competitive salary and benefits, including Live-In support (£80 per week with meals).

You will prepare high-quality breakfast dishes and maintain HACCP standards while collaborating with a professional kitchen brigade to deliver an exceptional breakfast service for up to 475 guests daily.

Qualifications

• Has previous breakfast chef or hotel kitchen experience.
• Takes pride in producing fresh, quality food.
• Thrives in a busy, high-volume environment.
• Has excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Works well as part of a professional kitchen brigade.
• Has a genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality breakfast dishes using fresh ingredients.
• Deliver consistently excellent food standards across a busy breakfast service.
• Work closely with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain excellent food presentation, quality and portion control.
• Support menu ideas and seasonal improvements.
• Ensure all food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards are maintained.
