Butcombe Group in Ringwood is seeking a Breakfast Chef to join our bustling kitchen, delivering high-quality, freshly cooked dishes in beautiful pubs and inns across the UK, where you’ll be at the heart of a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Passion for cooking and eagerness to learn within a fast-paced kitchen.
• Basic food safety knowledge and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Support the kitchen team in preparing and delivering high-quality dishes.
• Learn how to cook and present dishes according to standards and menus.
• Assist with basic food prep: chopping, portioning, and organising ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety across kitchen areas.
• Support stock rotation, deliveries, and proper ingredient storage.
• Work with experienced chefs to develop skills and confidence.
• Follow health, safety, and kitchen procedures at all times.
• Bring a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and strong team spirit.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting the kitchen team in the preparation and delivery of high-quality, freshly cooked food
• Learning how to cook and present dishes in line with company standards and menu specifications
• Assisting with basic food preparation, including chopping, portioning, and organising ingredients
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety across all kitchen areas
• Supporting stock rotation, deliveries, and ensuring ingredients are stored correctly
• Working closely with experienced chefs to develop your skills and confidence in a professional kitchen
• Following all health & safety, food safety, and kitchen procedures at all times
• Bringing a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong team spirit to every shift
