Breakfast Chef (CDP Level)

Location: King Street Townhouse Hotel & Spa, Manchester.

The Breakfast Chef is responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting high‑quality breakfast dishes, ensuring consistent production levels, and contributing to menu development. The role includes managing kitchen staff and maintaining hygiene and safety standards.

• Service performance goals and objectives are implemented and maintained.
• Performance levels for self and the kitchen function are agreed and achieved.
• Product and food service standards, quality practices and procedures are maintained and adhered to.
• Kitchen is fully maintained in line with kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
• Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your specialty.
• Managing and training any demi‑chef de parties or commis working with you.
• Helping the sous chef and head chef to develop new dishes and menus.
• Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
