Job summary

Nobu Hospitality is seeking a Breakfast Chef in London to deliver outstanding breakfast service and uphold the highest standards in the kitchen. You will collaborate with your team, maintain cleanliness, and ensure every dish reflects Nobu's quality and presentation.

You will lead your section, train junior staff on the menu, and contribute innovative ideas to evolve offerings. This role embodies Nobu values and hospitality excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience as breakfast cook or chef in a professional kitchen.
• Commitment to high standards of presentation and plating.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Create an exceptional breakfast experience for guests.
• Maintain a clean and tidy kitchen with stock checks, labeling, audits and equipment checks.
• Manage and oversee the smooth running of your section.
• Ensure all staff understand the full menu offering.
• Prepare dishes to the highest standard with careful presentation.
• Be innovative in cooking style and contribute new dishes or specials.
• Act as an ambassador for Nobu and lead the team in line with company values.

THE ROLE

As Breakfast Chef you will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of standards in the kitchen and in the execution and delivery of all dishes. You will work collaboratively with your team and assist in the cleanliness and upkeep of your section and the kitchen as a whole. Your tasks as Breakfast Chef will include but will not be limited to:

• To create an exceptional breakfast experience for our guests.
• To maintain a clean and tidy kitchen with regular stock checks, labelling, audits, equipment checks, and adhering to all health and safety requirements.
• To manage and oversee the smooth running of your section.
• To ensure yourself and junior staff have a comprehensive understanding of the full menu offering.
• To ensure all dishes are prepared and created to the highest standard with the utmost care in presentation.
• To be innovative in your cooking style and to offer ideas on new dishes or specials that could enhance the menu.
• To be an ambassador for Nobu as well as a leader who embodies our values and commitment to our teams.
