Job summary

Iconic Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Breakfast Chef to uphold the highest kitchen standards and ensure flawless execution of all dishes at breakfast service. You will lead a team, maintain cleanliness, stock control, and safety across the section and kitchen.

You will also guide junior staff on the full menu, craft dishes with care in presentation, and contribute ideas for new breakfast offerings while representing Nobu and our values within the team.

Qualifications

Experience as a breakfast chef or in a similar kitchen role.
Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to train and mentor junior kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

Create an exceptional breakfast experience for guests.
Maintain a clean kitchen with stock checks, labeling, audits and safety checks.
Manage and oversee the smooth running of your section.
Ensure junior staff understand the full menu and standards.
Prepare dishes to the highest standard with presentation in mind.

THE ROLE

As Breakfast Chef you will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of standards in the kitchen and in the execution and delivery of all dishes. You will work collaboratively with your team and assist in the cleanliness and upkeep of your section and the kitchen as a whole. Your tasks as Breakfast Chef will include but will not be limited to:

To create an exceptional breakfast experience for our guests.
To maintain a clean and tidy kitchen with regular stock checks, labelling, audits, equipment checks, and adhering to all health and safety requirements.
To manage and oversee the smooth running of your section.
To ensure yourself and junior staff have a comprehensive understanding of the full menu offering.
To ensure all dishes are prepared and created to the highest standard with the utmost care in presentation.
To be innovative in your cooking style and to offer ideas on new dishes or specials that could enhance the menu.
To be an ambassador for Nobu as well as a leader who embodies our values and commitment to our teams.
