Upham Inns is seeking an experienced Breakfast Chef to join our team. roles include independent multitasking in a fast-paced kitchen, cooking breakfast dishes to spec, and coaching junior chefs. The position supports development and career growth within our growing pub group.

You will work in a dynamic kitchen environment with weekend shifts and opportunities for recognition, rewards, and staff benefits. A strong culinary background and excellent presentation skills are essential.

Formación

• Must have at least 1 year experience as a Chef.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task in a busy kitchen.
• Experience in a similar role or keen interest in culinary career.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends per business needs.
• Able to train and coach junior chefs and staff.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Must have Right to Work in the UK.
• Excellent culinary and presentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and plate breakfast dishes to menu specs.

Breakfast chef Requirements:

• The ability to work well independently and multi-task.
• Experience in a similar role or a keen interest in pursuing a culinary career.
• The ability to work in a fast paced and high-pressured environment.
• Availability to work shifts, including weekends as per business needs.
• Be a strong Chef, with the ability to train, Coach and develop junior chefs
• At least 1 year experience as a Chef

Breakfast Chef Responsibilities:

• Preparing and plating up breakfast dishes in an efficient manner and using the menu specs provided.
• Preparing ingredients for senior chefs, ensuring great attention to detail for the menu specs provided.
• Working to a high standard to ensure customers receive the best quality food.
• Complying with all health and safety regulations and hygiene standards.
• Cooks guests' orders according to their preferences
• Employs food safety best practices and makes sure that all kitchen staff members do the same
• Acts with appropriate caution in a dangerous environment where there are knives and high-temperature surfaces
• Coaches other chef's and other members of the kitchen staff, so they perform at their best
• Takes direction and works with the restaurant's administrative team

We own a collection of
beautiful and individual premium pubs across Southern England. Our pubs are in
idyllic settings in country villages and towns, where we are proud to be the
quality local of the area, serving high quality fresh pub food in a cozy pub ambience.
Most of our pubs have some Charming Bedrooms as well. New to our growing family
is Harper’s Steakhouse, a new premium American Steakhouse brand that we started
rolling out last year.
