Job summary

SANZA Teaching Agency is seeking a Breakfast Club and After School Club Manager in the London area. The role runs from 7:45am–9:00am and 2:30pm–6:00pm, Monday to Friday during term time, with a pay rate of £17.50 per hour. Start date is given as the upcoming September term, with potential extension based on needs.

The post requires day-to-day management of Extended Services, including leading staff, ensuring quality childcare, and supervising playworkers and volunteers within a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with 3-11 year olds.
• Proven leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• IT to support play and club administration.
• Appropriate child protection training.
• Current First Aid and Food Hygiene certificates.
• Understanding of safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver quality play opportunities in a safe, caring environment.
• Provide comprehensive care for children and supervise staff and volunteers.
• Set up play spaces and maintain hygiene and safety standards.
• Administer first aid when necessary and monitor health and safety.
• Manage administrative duties including records, budgets and purchasing.
• Communicate with parents, staff and the community, and provide staff appraisals.
• Undertake relevant training and monitor staff performance.
