Job summary

Rugby School seeks a self-employed Brass Teacher to provide one-on-one brass lessons and lead our Junior and Senior Bands. The role involves teaching around 30 lessons per academic year, with students of varying abilities.

The teacher will be expected to perform in concerts and contribute to wind band activities throughout the year. The successful candidate will be an experienced musician and a capable teacher, with duties expanding to coaching wind ensembles and participating in school

Qualifications

• Experience teaching brass instruments to individuals or small groups.
• Ability to coach wind bands or ensembles.

Responsibilities

• Teach 1-1 brass lessons (30 minutes each).
• Lead Junior and Senior Bands.
• Participate in concerts and events.
• Support wind band coaching as needed.
