Hello, we are Amphico: a London and Tokyo based company with a growing transdisciplinary and diverse team of 15+ people composed of scientists, designers, engineers and business operators brought together by a shared commitment to transforming the textile industry. Our mission is to lead the textile industry to a pollution-free and circular future by developing and commercialising toxic-free high-performance, sustainable alternatives to conventional textile technologies.

Our lead products include:

  • Amphitex: a circular and PFAS-free waterproof and breathable textile for outdoor and performance apparel.
  • Amphicolor: a waterless coloured textile which dramatically reduces the carbon footprint, water-consumption and pollution attributed to textile colouration.

For both of our technologies, we leverage automation and AI to transform the way textiles are developed and produced.

[2] Responsibilities

At AMPHICO, we believe that strong design capabilities are crucial for roles in branding and marketing. As a startup, we are looking for individuals who can move with agility between design, branding, and marketing. For this reason, we will favour applicants with strong design skills for this position. Please highlight your creative capabilities through your portfolio, as we consider them highly valuable.

Develop, maintain and implement branding strategy and guidelines

  • Develop and implement an integrated branding and marketing strategy aligned with company objectives, ensuring a consistent brand voice and narrative across all channels.
  • Expansion of existing brand guidelines to new technologies and digital touch points, maintenance and consistency of everything from tone of voice to colourways across all platforms.
  • Ensure branding guidelines are always up to date and implemented company-wide.

Lead Co-branding implementation

  • Oversee the creation and execution of co-branding initiatives with external partners to ensure brand alignment and mutual partnership value.

Content creation and design

  • Plan and produce marketing materials (e.g. presentation decks, newsletters, graphics for website/webpages (currently Webflow based), social media content, product photography, exhibition printed materials such as banners and posters, branded packaging).
  • Manage external partners (vendors, content creators, agencies, freelancers) to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of promotional materials.
  • Develop, direct and implement the design for trade-shows, exhibitions and physical space for pop-up stores.

Manage marketing campaigns

  • Manage inbound PR opportunities, collaborating with media, influencers, and journalists to enhance brand visibility and public engagement.
  • Manage multi-channel content including social media calendars.
  • Track the performance of campaigns using KPIs and marketing analytics, refining strategies based on performance insights.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g. product, R&D, sales, leadership) to maintain coherence between marketing activities and broader company goals.
[3] Qualifications and Requirements

Skills and Experience:

  • 3–5 years of branding or marketing experience. (In the case you are from a marketing background, you should be comfortable creating the visual contents yourself).
  • Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proven ability to managing external partners including freelancers, agencies, or content production teams.
  • Excellent graphic design proficiency (high mastery of Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent graphic tools. Capabilities in 3D graphic tools also welcome).
  • Ability to create internal marketing and branding materials, including visual assets.
  • Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills.

We would love to see:

  • Experience working with sustainable brands, textile industries, or product innovation companies; familiarity with marketing analytics, CMS platforms, or CRM tools.
  • Experience developing and managing social media content calendars.
  • Experience maintaining and evolving brand voice across multiple channels.
  • Experience leading co-branding initiatives and delivering high-quality partnership assets.
  • Other design tools such as Webflow, Figma and other Generative AI tools.
  • Photography skills.
  • Videography skills.

Location:

  • Applicants must be based in or willing to relocate to London.

Visa and Right to Work in the UK:

  • The company is unable to offer Visa sponsorship at this time; therefore, the candidate must have the right to work in the UK.

Work in Person:

  • Full-time with a minimum of 3 days per week in person at our London office.

  • Base salary range: up to £45k depending on experience and qualifications.
  • 25 days’ holiday per year (excluding Bank Holidays).
