Job summary

Melksham Gardens is opening a brand-new 80-bed care home in Melksham. We are seeking experienced Night Care Assistants to help create a welcoming, safe environment for residents during night hours.

The role focuses on personal care, comfort, and calm, compassionate support throughout the night. You will join a dedicated night team, delivering high-quality, person-centred care while we establish routines, culture and standards for a new home.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a care setting.
• Ability to treat residents with dignity and respect.
• Comfortable working night shifts and building positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines and personal care, including washing and bathing.
• Assist residents with toileting and daily activities, getting to know each person.
• Provide a safe, reassuring environment during night shifts.
• Build positive relationships and maintain a person-centred approach to care.
