Our client is an award-winning, independent events business, curating cutting edge, leading B2B conferences for a truly global audience.
Responsibilities
- Join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and generate strategies that grow market share and the brand’s reputation, improve customer experience and drive growth.
- Develop and implement the marketing campaigns for a number of live events.
- Investigate, test and roll out ideas for building your community, engaging with prospects and cross-promoting products to your target audience.
- Be the driver of change in the team and forge the way to a brand-led marketing strategy.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and marketing trends. Demonstrate excellent communication skills and express messages creatively.
- Lead by example within the marketing team and demonstrate success through campaigns, ideas and a positive attitude.
Qualifications
- BSc/BA/MS degree essential – outstanding academic background.
- Proven experience as a Marketing Manager, Senior Marketing Executive or similar role, ideally within B2B events.
- Proven experience as a Brand Manager is desirable.
- Thorough understanding of marketing techniques, data analysis and statistics methods.
- Demonstrable experience in marketing with the potential and attitude to learn.
- Thorough knowledge of strategic planning principles and marketing best practices.
- Proficient in MS Office and marketing software (e.g. CRM, marketing automation).
- Results-driven with proven leadership skills.
- Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix; highly creative with the ability to think out of the box.
- Experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
- Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
