Diageo’s Talisker Visitor Centre seeks a Brand Home Lead Guide to coordinate tours, guide the team, and deliver outstanding experiences across tours, bar and retail. You will maintain high service standards, support commercial performance, and contribute to events and community engagement.

You will lead by example, motivate colleagues, schedule shifts, monitor performance, and help plan special events while fostering guest relationships and a welcoming brand home atmosphere.

• Experience leading a team in visitor attractions, hospitality, retail or similar customer-facing environments.
• Ability to motivate and develop colleagues and build strong working relationships.
• Proactive, resilient, and open-minded with problem-solving mindset.
• Experience working towards performance targets.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends; basic MS Office skills helpful.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate daily tours and allocate work across the Brand Home Guides team, supporting smooth operations across visitor experiences, bar and retail.
• Support the management team with day-to-day operations and ensure high standards of service and guest experiences.
• Supervise Brand Home Guides and agency colleagues, including scheduling, hours, training, and performance monitoring.
• Support retail strategy and visual merchandising to showcase products and create engaging retail experiences.
• Help plan and deliver special events, working with the Assistant Managers and wider team.
• Contribute to community engagement and the Brand Home’s sustainability ambitions.
• Lead by example and build relationships with guests and partners to improve visitor experience and business performance.

About the role

As Brand Home Lead Guide, you’ll support the day-to-day running of Talisker Visitor Centre, coordinating tours and guiding the team to deliver outstanding experiences across tours, bar and retail. You’ll help maintain high service and operational standards, support commercial performance and contribute to events and community engagement.

What you’ll be doing

• Coordinate daily tours and allocate work across the Brand Home Guides team, supporting smooth operations across visitor experiences, bar and retail.
• Support the management team with day-to-day operations and help ensure consistently high standards of service and memorable guest experiences.
• Supervise Brand Home Guides and agency colleagues, including scheduling, recording working hours, supporting training and development, and monitoring team performance against targets.
• Support retail strategy and visual merchandising to showcase the product range and create an engaging retail experience.
• Help plan and deliver special events throughout the year, working with the Assistant Managers and wider team.
• Contribute to community engagement and the Brand Home’s sustainability ambitions.
• Lead by example, build strong relationships with guests and partners, and identify practical ideas to improve the visitor experience and business performance.

Please note: This role includes evening and weekend work, as well as opening and closing responsibilities.

What you’ll bring

• Experience leading a team and maintaining high customer-service standards in a visitor attraction, hospitality, retail or a similar customer-facing environment.
• The ability to support, motivate and develop colleagues, build strong working relationships and work effectively as part of a team.
• A proactive, resilient and open-minded approach, with the confidence to solve problems and suggest improvements.
• Experience working towards targets and helping a team deliver against performance goals.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, with shifts planned in advance; confidence using Microsoft Office or similar tools is helpful but not essential.
