Job summary

Allwyn UK is seeking a Consumer Communications Manager – Brand and Good Causes to drive National Lottery storytelling and brand relevance. You will lead integrated campaigns, connect play with purpose, and grow trust and participation through compelling press materials and media partnerships.

You will work with journalists, influencers, and cross-functional teams to broaden reach, and shape PR strategy amid evolving media landscapes while supporting budget and performance analysis.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in PR, media, or journalism.
• Established media and influencer relationships.
• Strong media relations with a track record of high-impact coverage.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• High levels of creativity and strategic thinking.
• Agency management experience.
• A proactive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver stories and campaigns that showcase National Lottery funding of good causes at scale.
• Deliver stories and campaigns that promote the National Lottery brand.
• Draft press materials – briefs, press releases, interviews, etc.
• Support shoots to produce high quality photography and video content.
• Pitch stories to media to secure coverage.
• Collaborate with NLPU, Marketing and Social teams for multi-platform storytelling.
• Build and maintain media contacts relationships.
• Support PR agency management to ensure strong results.
• Deliver reporting and actionable recommendations to improve performance.
• Innovate PR approach in line with consumer trends and evolving media landscape.
• Stay up-to-date on digital trends and AI influences on work.
• Support with budget management.
