Job summary

Hymans Robertson seeks a Design Manager to lead our in‑house design team across London, Glasgow or Edinburgh. You will shape and evolve our visual brand, ensuring design excellence across marketing, client materials, reports and campaigns.

You will coach and develop the team, own brand guidelines and templates, improve workflows, and collaborate with Marketing, Digital, Bids and HR. A strong portfolio and expert Adobe skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Significant in-house design leadership experience in professional or financial services.
• Proven ability to lead and grow creative teams and projects.
• Experience implementing refreshed brands across channels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the in-house design team delivering high‑quality work across channels.
• Own Hymans Robertson's visual brand guidelines and design systems.
• Drive brand identity adoption across the business.
• Ensure consistency and quality across marketing, client and internal comms.
• Manage workflow, capacity planning and resource allocation within the team.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Digital, Content, Bids, HR and others to meet objectives.
• Maintain design assets, templates and toolkits for business needs.
• Champion accessibility and inclusive design across outputs.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools and automation.
