Job summary

Kingfisher plc, the international home improvement retailer, is seeking a Brand Communications Executive to shape the own-brand strategy for the 2027 Christmas range. You will ensure the brand stays recognisable, up-to-date and engaging for customers, while managing banners and communications across B&Q, Screwfix, Castorama and other Kingfisher brands.

You will collaborate with Brand, Creative and Content teams to craft content, briefs and USPs, driving range activation across digital, marketing

Qualifications

  • Experience in a brand communications or product brand role.
  • Ability to create and deliver comprehensive communication plans.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts into briefs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute content and communication plans for range reviews, using category strategy, customer insights, competitor analysis and sales data.
  • Create compelling brand messaging that aligns customer needs with the value proposition of the range.
  • Partner with Brand, Creative and Content teams to develop engaging content, imagery, video and campaign assets.
  • Write content briefs and product USPs, ensuring content reflects customer shopping behaviours and local market requirements.
  • Manage content delivery and approvals, including vendor assets, to ensure consistency and quality across all channels.
  • Drive range activation through digital, marketing and PR channels, ensuring communications support commercial objectives and key performance indicators.

  • Experience working in a product brand communication role
  • Proven capabilities in creating and delivering communication plans
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills and a proven ability to translate complex concepts into simple and intuitive briefs
  • Cross-functional stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence across all levels of the organisation
  • Creative perspective to bring ideas to product positioning and brand content
  • Ability to thrive on working in a matrixed, always-on, environment across multiple time zones and teams
  • Global experience preferred

Kingfisher Share Save
