This is a hands‑on Branch Manager Trainee position where you'll learn every aspect of running a successful branch. From leading a team and driving sales to managing day‑to‑day operations and delivering an exceptional customer experience, you'll receive structured training while taking on increasing responsibility as your confidence grows.

The Role

As a Branch Manager Trainee, you'll work alongside experienced managers to develop the commercial, operational and leadership skills needed to run your own branch in the future.

Your responsibilities

• Supporting the day‑to‑day running of a busy branch
• Leading, motivating and developing a customer‑facing team
• Delivering outstanding customer service and resolving customer queries
• Managing bookings, administration and operational activity
• Monitoring branch performance, workflow and service standards
• Driving sales and identifying opportunities to grow revenue
• Building lasting relationships with customers
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety, compliance and presentation
• Learning how to manage branch performance, profitability and commercial decisions
• Taking on greater responsibility as part of your development programme

What We're Looking For

You'll ideally have experience in a leadership role such as:

• Trading Manager
• Shift Manager
• Department Manager
• Assistant Manager
• Duty Manager
• Supervisor

Experience within supermarkets, retail, hospitality, leisure, food retail or any other fast-paced customer‑facing environment would be highly relevant.
