Solutions Driven is seeking a commercially minded Branch Manager to lead an established plumbing and heating branch in East Sussex. You will own sales, margin, and profitability, with local decision-making power and backing from a wider merchant group.

Responsibilities include growing trade accounts, leading and coaching a small team, and delivering excellent service to counter and field customers while maintaining safety and compliance across the branch.

Qualifications

• Experience in a plumbing and heating merchant, ideally in a Branch Manager role.
• Established network of trade customers and local accounts.
• Sales-driven with ability to set pricing and margin.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop a small team.
• Good knowledge of plumbing and heating products and the trade customer.
• Full UK driving licence.

• Taking full ownership of the branch P&L, with a focus on sales growth, margin, and profitability.
• Winning new trade business and building relationships with installers, contractors, and local accounts.
• Protecting and growing the existing customer base.
• Leading, coaching, and developing the branch team, including internal sales.
• Delivering a high standard of service to trade customers at the counter, on the phone, and on site.
• Working with suppliers to get the best range, pricing, and support for your customers.
• Running a safe branch that meets health and safety and compliance standards.

Branch Manager | Plumbing and Heating Merchant | East Sussex | Competitive salary plus bonus

We're looking for a commercially minded Branch Manager to lead an established and profitable plumbing and heating branch in East Sussex.

This is a true plumbing and heating merchant, with no showroom. The job is to grow the branch: winning new trade accounts, holding on to the customers we already have, and building a team that sells as well as serves.

You'll run the branch as your own, owning sales, margin, and profitability, with the freedom to make commercial decisions locally and the support of a wider merchant group behind you when you need it.

What you'll be doing

What we're looking for

• Experience in a plumbing and heating merchant, ideally as a Branch Manager or Assistant Branch Manager
• An established network of trade customers and contacts in the area
• A sales-led approach, with the confidence to make commercial decisions on pricing and margin
• The ability to lead, motivate, and develop a small team
• A good working knowledge of plumbing and heating products and the trade customer
• A full UK driving licence

Ready to step up? We're open to Assistant Branch Managers and trade counter supervisors who are ready to run their own branch, as long as the commercial drive is there.
